Englandfahrt der 3. Klassen

From 11th to 17th May we were in London for a school project. We travelled to London by plane.

On the first day we had a sightseeing bus tour and in the afternoon we went on a boat trip. We saw a great variety of sights (Big Ben, London Eye, Madame Tussauds, and a lot more). The weather was lovely and warm.

On Monday morning we went to school in Pinner and afterwards we made our way to the most fascinating Ferris Wheel in Europe. We had a really good view on the top of London Eye. On the next day we went to Emirates Stadium, which was very nice to visit. But it was closed so we only saw the museumof Emirates Stadium. In the afternoon we went to Madame Tussauds, a famous waxwork museum. It was really cool. On Wednesday we were at London Dungeon and it was very scary there.

After that, we went to the musical “The Lion King”. It was really nice and the musical was taking us about 2 hours. Everybody was dressed nicely. And then we went home by tube and got something very tasty to eat. On the following day we had school with a crazy teacher. After school we went to the Horse Stables Market which was really amazing and we bought a lot. After that we went home by tube. There we were packing everything for our journey.

Everybody was glad to fly home on the next day, except for Michael, Selina and Natascha. On Friday morning our host families took us to the Underground station and we went to Heathrow Airport. Then we flew to Munich.

Our local coach Holiday brought us back to Wenns. Our families were already waiting for us at “Freizeitzentrum Wenns”. We drove back home and some of us really missed London.  But it was great to see our families and friends again.
